The IGNITE Stage is a space where Regional Platform participants will have up to 20 minutes to present new projects or initiatives on the subject of disaster risk reduction. The objective of this space is to complement and expand the range of topics discussed at the Regional Platform beyond those presented in the main sessions and side events.

Observations: • The IGNITE Stage program will be available onsite during the Regional Platform and on the Regional Platform website. However, participants are encouraged to promote their presentations to encourage attendance
• A laptop, a monitor and microphones will be provided by the host, the Government of Canada. Presentations can be delivered in English, French or Spanish, but please note that interpretation will not be available
• The 20-minute time limit (includes technical assistance to start the presentation and a question and answer session) will be strictly enforced. A timer will be available and visible from the stage
Promotion of approved presentations: To help promote the approved presentations, information notes prepared by the participating organizations will be available both on the Regional Platform website, as well as on the corporate website and Facebook page of UNISDR - The Americas.
