Reducing urban risk in Asia: status report and inventory of initiatives

This thematic review report on urban risk reduction in Asia was prepared by the Asia Regional Task Force on Urban Risk Reduction (RTF-URR) in the context of progress review in the implementation of the Hyogo Framework for Action. It reviews the status of urban risk in Asia and also compiled an inventory of initiatives on urban risk reduction and analysed them in line with HFA to understand the current status and challenges in the area of urban risk reduction in Asia.

It was launched at the second session of the Global Platform on Disaster Risk Reduction in 2009.
